Parmesan Herb Crusted Pork Chops

This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy pork – coated in organic bread crumbs and fried to golden perfection.

It’s actually quite simple. I don’t know why I don’t do this more often.

In a plate, mix dried herbs (I used rosemary, oregano, and basil) with bread crumbs.


In a bowl, crack two eggs and whisk and pour onto a flat container. On a separate plate, grate some good aged Parmesan cheese. Coat both sides of the chops with the Parmesan cheese…


Dip in the egg mixture then coat in the bread crumb mixture then give it a good pat so that everything sticks.


In a large skillet, pour a good amount of oil on the pan. Just a couple on tablespoons! Enough to cover at least half the thickness of the pork chops. Cook until golden brown then flip to cook the other side.


Serve with veggies to make this meal a little bit healthier. I made a quick simple salad using my favorite greens, colorful tomatoes, homemade croutons, and a good squeeze of lemon juice.
