she cooks, he eats

It took me a while to make dinner for us tonight but it ended up tasting so good! I made garlic jasmine rice and pork tonkatsu with a tonkatsu sauce that took forever to perfect lol.

What’s everyone having for dinner tonight? :)

  1. Looks pretty and good! i love jasmine rice – its mostly the only kind i use – i love it in fried rice too – we had Costco giant sirloin burgers on the grill + all the condiments! Tonite is leftover Anne Burrell’s recipe for braised chicken with mushrooms and almonds. We alternated so we didn’t eat it 2 nites in a row (although i don’t mind doing that!) ! It’s a great recipe with a few tweaks of course.

    1. Costco sells the best meat ever! The pork chops used for the tonkatsu were from Costco! The chops were huge and really thick so I filleted them in half lol. ps, your dinner sounds so good! and I definitely have no problems eating leftovers back to back too :)

  2. Yum, that looks super tasty!! I made a couple good meals this week, I’m really getting into making some delish dishes – it helps that my bf is so appreciative of them :) I’m going to have to try this one out too, thanks Kat!
