Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day! Did you guys notice something different today? I got a makeover :)
I don’t really know what compelled me to change my blog theme, but I’m pretty sure it had to do with those weekly emails from WordPress announcing that they’ve released new themes. Le sigh, the sucker in me always checks, and this time I was extra tempted lol. I’m really happy with the re-design. As much as I loved the happy yellow background and banana (which was so me by the way :), I yearned for something a bit simpler — modern, uncluttered, and clean. I believe this theme is called “Clean Home”…haha, ironical!
I’m going to end this post with my recent favorite tune!

Hi everyone! It’s Friday and the first of June! Hooray for both! :)
Tomorrow I’m heading to an “end of the year” party and I’m super excited because I will be baking cupcakes! Not just any cupcakes, but extreme cupcakes! The types of cupcakes that I feel super guilty about making and leaving behind for my boyfriend to eat because they are that indulgent! The cupcakes I will be baking tomorrow are chewy chocolate chip cookie bottom cupcakes! I blogged about this a looooong time ago and now that I have found the appropriate occasion for theses cupcakes, I am super excited to make!

In true Friday fashion, here are some of my favorites from the week…
The week started off with a Pinkberry date! Their new strawberry flavor is so good!
For date night munchies this week, I made us chicken enchilada nachos (recipe coming soon!)…
Now that it’s summer season, a refreshing glass of limeade is a must! And a perfect drink to wash down those nachos with!
I was feeling extra crafty this week and finally found the time to make my DIY bracelets I found on Pinterest, these are helloberry inspired! If you’re interested in making your very own helloberry, check out this video tutorial (the best and my favorite). And if you are making one, please email, tweet, or post a pic on my facebook wall so I can see your lovely creations :)

cherry tomato pizza! so easy, so fresh, so light, and so in season! thank you all for your Spring pizza toppings, I can't wait to try them out :)

chocolate chip blondies!! moist like a brownie/soft and chewy like a cookie onomnomnom (update: ate a day 4 old blondie and still so good :)
Favorite noodles:
spicy miso ramen from RA Sushi! my boyfriend always breaks out in a little sweat, me on the other hand love the heat (i add more) lol :)
Favorite sip:
not only is Nordies one of my favorite stores to shop, they also make the best coffee! i always order the honey almond latte. if you love marzipan then i highly recommend trying this!

Oh what a week this has been! Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were “trapped” in an elevator! I’m using the word “trapped” loosely because we were only stuck in the elevator for about a minute but when the elevator jammed and it went up and down for a little bit, I was terrified. Thank goodness he was there and we were together because he is definitely the calm one lol. Has this ever happened to you before?! I will now be taking the stairs :)

3 words that describe my week: karma, tummy aches, and good-byes.
After nine years, “One Tree Hill” and I said our good-byes. I’ve been watching that show for almost half my life…it sounds so strange when you think of it that way. I loved that the show came full circle and ended on a good note, a good cheesy note. Did anyone else catch the final episode?

double stuffed golden oreos, my favorite! i might of eaten about five too many...

five too many double stuffed oreos led to massive two day tummy pains for me...i can't believe it's taken me 20+ years to discover this, PB is the best! :)

i told my boyfriend i was feeling so well, and guess what my he sent me a pic of?! cooookies! he made me cookies. sooo is he a keeper ladies and gents? :)

layered baked louisiana-style chicken nachos || i noticed there was a HUGE surge in popularity for these nachos this week via Pinterest! it definitely made my week because these nachos were so good and are finally getting the attention they didn't get the first time around. please check it out if you have time :)

carmel mango chicken and garlic noodles from PF Changs || i highly reccommend the garlic noodles, sooo good! must learn to make my own version! if you have any other noodle recs from PF Changs, please let me know! i love me my noodles :)

yeah, yeah, Pinkberry aaagain...but it's hovering between high 70s-low 80s here, life in LA is tough hehe jk :)
