It’s probably because I fall asleep within the first half hour… I don’t know why, but I blame it on the bad movie theater popcorn, comfy chairs, dark and cold air-conditioned rooms. I think it makes a great napping environment, no? :)
Is anyone else just as excited to see Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked movie as I am? I had no idea there would be a third one (coming Christmas!). I’ve seen the last two, and I loved them! Have any of you guys seen them? What movies are you looking forward to seeing?

Hope everyone had a great week. I don’t know about you, but this week flew by really fast! It was a week packed with nothing but laughs and giggles! What exactly is OG Salsa you ask? If you’re from LA I don’t think I need to define, but if you’re from elsewhere Urban Dictionary does a pretty decent job defining OG.
Remember in my last post when I declared that He (from she cooks, he eats) makes the best tacos on earth and if I had to pick a last meal, that would be it. One of the reasons why I love those tacos is because of the equally delicious salsa that he makes with them! Being an avid supporter of she cooks, he eats, he was sweet enough to share his now not-so-secret infamous salsa recipe.

On one of my random shopping trips this morning, I stumbled upon a chalk board cookie jar! It’s so adorable! It was a toughie tough! I had to decide between this or a cupcake cookie jar!

You know you are from Southern California if you refer to Tuesdays as Taco Tuesdays, and you are just as excited and giddy like Fridays!
On the rare occasions when he cooks (because I’m such a kitchen hog), she wants to eat tacos! It’s the food I request the most, aside from cheesy eggs of course! Now I may sound a bit biased, but he cooks the best tacos ever!! Why I think his tacos are better than any old taco from any old local taco joint, you ask? Well, lets see… (1) there’s no skimpage of meat whatsoever; (2) it’s real meat and not that rumored faux meat that some fast food chains unfortunately serve; (3) it’s quick; and (4) it’s served with homemade OG salsa (also known as Fired Tomato and Chile Salsa — check back soon for the recipe!).

Oh carbs, how much I love to hate you! You are in everything I love…sugar, cupcakes, pasta, bread baskets, my boyfriend, and I’m sure you’re in bacon too! Carbs is my vice. Any foods loaded with unhealthy carbs, you bet I’ll eat it! Don’t judge me!! I know you would eat it too…

Remember this week’s post when I mentioned I was allergic to fruit? Well, I couldn’t keep myself away from a tasty mango tonight. And the end result…I”M SICK!! Oh, not the “my lips are swollen and my face is puffy” kinda sick but rather the “I’m throwing up sick” sick! This has never happened to me before. Has this ever happened to any of you? Could this be fruit poisoning?
Sigh…why did you do this to me mango? I swore when you looked all tempting, you were asking me to eat you! I was just doing you a favor…
